Happy Birthday Ava

Yesterday we celebrated Ava's Fifth Birthday with a skating party. The girls had a great time skating and running around the rink!! The party continued on at Ava's house with a sleepover. This was Lily's first sleepover, I was a little nervous that she wouldn't stay the whole night, but she did and had a great time!!

Honors Day

Lily and her classmates each got a medal today for their Accelerated Reading. Boy have they came a long way since I was in school....we only got a paper award!!

Dot Mom Conference

So, Mitzi and I left yesterday morning around 10:30 to catch a flight out of Little Rock headed to Dallas. We are here for a Dot Mom conference which is put on by Lifeway. To start the day off our flight was delayed for 3 1/2 hours due to the airplane we were waiting on, being grounded in St. Louis. So much for getting in some extra time for shopping....we are pretty sure Caleb and Greg might have had something to do with this!! We got into Dallas with just enough time to meet up with the rest of our group and eat at The Cheesecake Factory, which was Yummy!! The cheesecake was beyond awesome. To add to our hectic day.....Mitzi had a whole tray of drinks poured down her back at supper and to top it off when she went to brush her teeth last night, she broke the head off of her brand new toothbrush!! We are really hoping this is not a sign of what the rest of our trip will be like!! Oh well we are making memories!!
